the way we live…

People that we have some measure of connection with are much more concerned with the way we live than the words we say. We can instruct with our speech; however, we teach much more by our actions. It’s when the words and the actions fail to match up — that is when we lead others into a tailspin. How can he say this thing, but live that way. Of course none of us are perfect. We don’t measure up. No one bats a thousand. None of us do, but we each have a responsibility as teachers and leaders to be as authentic as we possibly can. Then allow the grace of God to overflow from our lives into our community of faith and beyond.
